David Pryce-Joneswas educated at Eton College, and then read history at Magdalen
College, Oxford. He has published nine novels and nine books of
non-fiction, including The Closed Circle and The War That
Never Was, about the end of the Soviet empire. He is a senior editor
of National Review in New York.
