Manfred Gerstenfeld
He was born in Vienna, grew up in Amsterdam and moved to Israel with his family in 1968 from Paris. He is a chemist and economist by training, holds a Ph.D. in environmental studies and has a teacher training degree in Judaism from the Dutch Jewish Seminary. He is chairman of the Steering Committee of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs (JCPA), is Co-Chair of the Judaism Task Force of the Encyclopedia of Religion and Nature, Co-Publisher of the Jerusalem Letter/Viewpoints and Co-Publisher of Jewish Environmental Perspectives. Europe's Crumbling Myths: The Post-Holocaust Origins of Today's Anti-Semitism, by Dr. Gerstenfeld was published recently by the JCPA, Yad Vashem and World Jewish Congress. |
