Azriel Lorber
holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace and Ocean Engineering, from the Virginia
(USA) Polytechnic Institute and State University (1974). During his
career he worked for the Israeli Aircraft Industries and the Israeli
Military Industries and later served as the Principal Assistant to the
Director General of the Ministry of Science and Technology. He is a
senior member of the AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and
Astronautics). AL has authored four books on weapon systems and
their development and was co-editor (with Dr. Ben-Zion Naveh) of
Theater Ballistic Missile Defense which was published (2001) by
the AIAA, in their Progress in Astronautics and Aeronautics series.
AL has written over 50 papers and articles on military technology.
