Manfred Gerstenfeld

Dr. Manfred Gerstenfeld is an internationally renowned environmental expert and business consultant and has extensive background in Jewish public affairs. He lectures and publishes extensively on the subject, internationally and in Israel.

He was born in Vienna, grew up in Amsterdam and moved to Israel with his family in 1968 from Paris. He is a chemist and economist by training, holds a Ph.D. in environmental studies and has a teacher training degree in Judaism from the Dutch Jewish Seminary.

He is chairman of the Steering Committee of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs (JCPA), is Co-Chair of the Judaism Task Force of the Encyclopedia of Religion and Nature, Co-Publisher of the Jerusalem Letter/Viewpoints and Co-Publisher of Jewish Environmental Perspectives.

Europe's Crumbling Myths: The Post-Holocaust Origins of Today's Anti-Semitism, by Dr. Gerstenfeld was published by the JCPA, Yad Vashem and World Jewish Congress.
