Moshe Yegar
Ambassador
Dr. Moshe Yegar joined Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs
in May 1956, and retired in October 1995. His major posts were:
Consul General in Philadelphia and New York; Ambassador in Sweden
and in the Czech Republic; Assistant Director General, head of the
Hasbara Department and head of the Asia-Africa
Department. He is also the author of four books on issues of
Israel’s foreign policy – one on the history of Israel’s Hasbara; a book on Israel’s relations with Sweden; another
on Israel’s relations with the Czech Republic; and his latest one on
Israel’s relations with Asia.
