Susanne Urban
Dr.
Susanne Urban is an Historian, working in the European
Department of the International School for Holocaust Studies in Yad
Vashem, Jerusalem. Her research topics focus on the History of Youth
Aliyah between 1932 and 1948 and the History of Jewish DPs.
She recently published two books together with Asher Ben-Natan,
Israel’s (first) Ambassador to Germany. Another book on Jews at the
Volkswagen factory in 1944/45 was published in German and English.
She also teaches at German Universities. SU has lectured on contemporary anti-Semitism and
anti-Zionism at International Conferences and has written several
articles on these topics. She is a frequent contributor to NATIV.
