Meltem Müftüler-Bac
Meltem Müftüler-Bac received her Ph.D. in Political Science at Temple University, Philadelphia,
USA. She is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Political Science, Bilkent
University, Ankara, Turkey and holds the Associate Chair of the Department. She has contributed
to respected journals such as Middle Eastern Studies, Futures,
Security Dialogue,
Women's Studies International Forum and
The
Mediterranean Quarterly. She has also authored the
book Turkey's
Relations with a Changing Europe, published by Manchester University Press in 1997.
Her research areas are Turkey's relations with the European Union, Turkish-Israeli strategic
cooperation, and the post-Cold War developments in European and global security.
